Debugging - Ubuntu 20.04
There are proven reports of Ubuntu 20.04 working with AMD GPUs for OpenGL,
perhaps because it uses an older kernel and contains in its apt package
repositories older, tested versions of the AMDGPU Pro driver that may
still support the Hawaii chipset in the R9 390's that I have.
Make bootable USB
I overwrote the 30 GB USB stick that I have with 20.04.6 LTS and
installed it alongside Ubuntu 22.04 to be able to mount and make
use of the arcologos-infra repo.
Download AMDGPU Pro
For Ubuntu 20.04. It says it's for 20.04.5 so we'll find out whether the version patch makes a difference.
